1. How many times per week would I have tutoring sessions?It is different for each student. The average student at STAR spends
between 2 and 3 hours per week. All students that start with STAR complete
a comprehensive assessment which helps their tutors identify areas of
strengths and weakness. From here, an individual tutoring plan is put
in place which is designed to address the areas identified in the assessment. 2. What kind of extra-curricular activities are included?At STAR Education Centre, we assist students in all areas of their
scholastic development. From providing assistance in career development
to choosing the right post secondary institution, at STAR we even assist
students with scholarship pursuits and applications. 3. What kind of services do you provide for obtaining scholarhips and bursaries?At STAR we provide a series of workshops on scholarship searches and
selection. All workshops are subject specific (i.e. sports, academic,
performing arts) and are lead by a qualified instructor. |
